Karate Courses
Courses are held twice a term and focus on refining the technique, kata and kumite skills covered in regular lessons. They're open to all grades and give students focused practice time outside the normal class structure, often with guest instruction or a concentrated look at material relevant to upcoming gradings. Places are limited and booked in advance. please see our Term Dates page.

What To Expect On the Day of Your Karate Course
A Karate Course goes deeper into the kata and kumite work covered in regular lessons, often with guest instruction or a concentrated look at material relevant to an upcoming grading. Junior sessions (white to blue belt) and senior sessions (purple stripe and above) run separately, so students train alongside others at a similar stage. Courses run at Chiswick Community School and Tiffin Boys School, on rotation through the term.
